Tuna Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 200g pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 can of tuna in water, drained
  • 200g shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, drained tuna, milk, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix in half of the shredded cheese.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs if using.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
