Pesto Pasta

Ingredients

  • 200g pasta of choice
  • 100g pesto sauce
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • Cherry tomatoes for garnish (optional)

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained pasta and pesto sauce, mixing well.
  5. If the pasta is too dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
  6. Serve the pasta in bowls, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil.
  7. Garnish with cherry tomatoes if desired.
